This structure is one of my favorites. O'Reilly
Rebuilders is your local shop that is set up to rebuild all kinds of engines and transmissions. The customers bring
in their old or broken auto, truck and even tractor engines to do simple repairs or, most of the time, complete rebuilds.
The engines are delivered at the covered loading dock and removed from the trucks, using the over head traveling hoist,
and moved into the shop. From the shop the engines are moved into one of the adjoining buildings to get torn down and
completely rebuilt. Most of the machine work is done in the flat roofed building, where as all of the new parts are
kept in the one story front building. All new parts are also sold out of this building.
The foot print for this building, as I have built it,
is 15 x 21 inches. There are three separate structures on this build-up and I can assemble them as one industry,
on one base, like in the photos, or the three buildings may be assembled on separate bases and used
at different locations through out your layout as three completely separate businesses. The signage can also
be altered to meet your particular needs.
Everything you see in the photos is included with
the build-up, along with the figures and the landscaping.
