The idea for this building came from an old ice house
that was located in upstate New York. I had a variation of this same structure, in HO scale, on a layout that I built
a few years ago. The basic building remained the same except for a few extra loading docks and porches added to give
the structure a more detailed look. This gives the modeler the option to title the building anything they desire.
As you can see, this structure has the handlaid stone foundation that was layed up one
stone at a time and then mortared in, much like what is done in a real building.
The foot print for this building is 12x12 inches and everything you see in the photos,
castings and signage, is included with the build-up.
